Privacy Policy
I. Information on the processing of your data pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR
1. Controller
The controller responsible for this website is
Doszhan Kalibek
Mendelssohnstraße 1
31141 Hildesheim
hello@devoption.de
2. Data processed to provide the website and create log files
a. What data is processed and for what purpose?
Each time this website is accessed, data that may allow identification is temporarily stored. The following data is collected:
- Date and time of access
- IP address
- Hostname of the accessing device
- Website from which this website was accessed (referrer)
- Websites accessed from this website
- Page visited on this website
- Whether the request was successful
- Amount of data transferred
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
Temporary storage of this data is necessary for the duration of a website visit in order to deliver the website. Further storage in log files takes place to ensure the functionality of the website and the security of the underlying IT systems. This purpose also constitutes our legitimate interest in the processing.
b. Legal basis
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
c. Are there other recipients of the personal data besides the controller?
This website is hosted by:
STRATO GmbH
Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7
10249 Berlin
Germany
The hosting provider receives the data listed above as a processor.
d. How long is the data stored?
Data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose it was collected for. For the delivery of the website, this is the case once the respective session has ended. Log files are kept directly and exclusively accessible to administrators for up to 24 hours. After that they remain available only indirectly, via reconstruction from backups, and are permanently deleted after 4 weeks.
3. Cookies
This site sets one functional cookie (dv_lang) to remember your language preference for one year. This cookie does not track you across other websites and is not used for advertising or analytics purposes.
4. Contact via WhatsApp / Telegram
If you contact us via WhatsApp or Telegram, the data you provide (name, contact details, message) is used solely to process your inquiry, based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). Note that WhatsApp and Telegram are operated by third parties (Meta / Telegram) outside the EU; by using these channels you also agree to their respective terms and privacy policies.
5. Analytics (Umami)
This website uses Umami, a privacy-focused, cookieless web analytics tool, to understand how visitors use this site (e.g. page views, referrer, browser type, approximate country of origin, visit duration). Umami does not set cookies and does not track visitors across other websites. To count unique visitors, the visitor's IP address is used only briefly to generate an anonymized, non-reversible hash that changes daily; the raw IP address is not stored.
This Umami installation runs on the same server infrastructure as this website (see section 2.c above), so analytics data is not shared with any third-party analytics company.
Analytics data (page view and session records) is automatically deleted after 13 months via a scheduled job.
Given the limited privacy impact of this cookieless, non-tracking analytics tool, this data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding and improving the usability of our website). You have the right to object to this processing at any time (see Section II).
6. Data subject rights
a. Right to access
You may request information under Art. 15 GDPR about the personal data we process about you.
b. Right to object
You have the right to object on grounds relating to your particular situation (see Section II below).
c. Right to rectification
If data concerning you is inaccurate, you may request its correction under Art. 16 GDPR. If your data is incomplete, you may request that it be completed.
d. Right to erasure
You may request the erasure of your personal data under Art. 17 GDPR.
e. Right to restriction of processing
You have the right under Art. 18 GDPR to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
f. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law, you have the right under Art. 77(1) GDPR to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority of your choice. This includes the authority responsible for the controller: Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen (LfD Niedersachsen).
g. Right to data portability
Where the conditions of Art. 20(1) GDPR are met, you have the right to receive data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract, in a format that can be transferred to you or a third party. The collection of data to deliver the website and the storage of log files are strictly necessary for operating the website. They are therefore not based on consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or on a contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, but are justified under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The conditions of Art. 20(1) GDPR are accordingly not met with respect to this processing.
II. Right to object pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR
You have the right to object at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The controller will then no longer process the personal data unless compelling legitimate grounds for the processing can be demonstrated that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or unless the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims. The collection of data to deliver the website and the storage of log files are strictly necessary for operating the website.
